Exploring Herbalism w/ ASL Translation: An introductory Free Class

December 14, 2024 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Exploring Herbalism is an introductory hands-on class taught by Herbalist and Director of Equinox Center of Herbal Studies,  Laura Cascardi, exploring basic herbalism through a hands on, taste-full experience focusing on the energetics of medicinal herbs. This special class offers ASL translation by Eric and Rachael Sudhalter from Orion’s Apothecary.

Eric and Rachael Sudhalter met over 20 years ago at a Deaf Pizza Night. Their interpreting experience includes working in schools, medical assignments, job trainings, plays, concerts, and video relay interpreting.

This class is valued at $50. We encourage you to pay what you can from $0 to what you feel comfortable with. Paying extra ensures our staff gets paid well and helps cover the cost of someone who cant pay anything. If you are the person who cant pay anything, all blessings, cant wait to see you here!

Please register here for the class and let us know within 24 hours if you are unable to attend, as space is limited. Your donations contribute to materials and time, and they directly support our mission of providing accessible herbalism for the community. With your help, we hope to offer workshops in Spanish in the future, expanding our herbalism community even further.
